Hindalco Industries Limited,Unit-Birla Copper

This Hindalco Industries Limited office for the Birla Copper unit is located in Bhavnagar. We are over at 101/Chitrakut Appt in Anantwadi. It’s right near the Jail Ground, which is a landmark everyone in town knows. Being in an apartment building instead of a massive factory site gives this office a bit of a different feel. It’s quieter here, though you still get the city noise from Bhavnagar-364002. We’ve got the Anantwadi area around us, which is a mix of people living their lives and small businesses running. The office itself is just a regular room with some computers and a lot of phone lines. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the flashiest. We just do our part for the Birla Copper unit from this corner of Gujarat. Sometimes the traffic near the Jail Ground gets a bit backed up, but usually, it’s a decent place to work. We have a few desks and a place to make coffee. Most of our day is spent on the phone or dealing with local vendors. We don't have a corporate mission statement pinned to the wall. We just have a calendar and a list of things that need to get done before five o'clock. It’s a practical setup for a small team that knows the industry and the city. We like the neighborhood and the people who stop by to talk about the day's business.
