Gunvantray Karshandash Store

We are located in the Balmukund Complex right in the middle of Soni Bazar. It is a very busy area, especially being so close to the Darbargadh Haveli. Most days, the street is packed with people and bikes moving back and forth. Opposite us is the Shyam Kumar Bhiwadi place, so there is always something going on outside our front door. The shop itself is not very big, but we pack a lot into it. We have been working out of this space for years. It gets dusty because of all the traffic, but that is just part of being in the bazaar. We open up early and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. There isn't a lot of space to move around once we get a shipment in. We usually just pile things where they fit until we can sort them out later. It’s a family-run thing, so there’s always someone you know behind the counter. We don't bother with fancy displays or big signs. People know where we are. The fan in the back makes a bit of noise, and the floor is worn down from all the walking, but it's a solid place to work. We just keep our heads down and serve whoever comes in. Sometimes it’s hectic, other times we just chat with the neighbors while the tea is being made. It’s just a normal shop in a very old part of town.
