Out here on Bhavnagar Road, things move at a steady pace. Our place is in the GIDC-1 area, which is pretty much the heart of industry around here. We’ve been at this for years, making pharmaceutical products without making too much of a fuss. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a solid place where we do our work every day. Inside, it’s all about following the steps and making sure the machines are running right. It gets hot in the summer, but we are used to it by now. The staff mostly comes from nearby villages and towns in the Bhavnagar district. We spend our mornings checking batches and making sure the packaging is sorted. Sometimes the trucks arrive late because of the road conditions, but we just deal with it as it comes. It is a lot of paperwork and technical stuff, but we try to keep things straightforward. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the medicine we produce is done correctly. There is a lot of pride in the work, even if it’s just a regular factory job to some. We drink a lot of tea during breaks and talk about the local news. It’s a practical environment. No one wears suits here; we’re all in our work clothes, getting our hands into the process. We just keep our heads down and do the job.
