Gora Marine Power

Gora Marine Power is located at 153, Madhav Darshan on Wagawadi Road. It’s a busy street, and we are right there in the middle of it. The work we do involves a lot of heavy parts and engine components, so the shop floor is usually pretty busy. We’ve got shelves full of marine power equipment and tools scattered around the benches. The Madhav Darshan building has seen a lot of people come and go, but we’ve stayed put at number 153. It’s a noisy place, especially when we are testing something or when the traffic on Wagawadi Road picks up in the evening. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around. Most of the day is spent on our feet, looking at diagrams or grease-stained manuals. It is the kind of work that stays under your fingernails long after you leave for the day. We have a small desk for the bills and a few chairs for when someone drops by to talk about a part they need. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We just speak plainly and get to the point. The air smells a bit like diesel and old metal, which is just how a marine power shop should be. We’ve built a bit of a routine over the years, and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and handle whatever comes through the door. It’s honest work in a busy part of town.
