Tarachand Mill

Down here at Plot No. 369/3 in Gidc Chitra, the machines at Tarachand Mill get started early in the morning and they do not really stop until the sun goes down. It is a loud place, to be honest. You can usually hear the hum and clatter of the equipment from all the way down the street. We have been operating out of this same spot for a long time now, just dealing with the daily grind of production. It is dusty work and our clothes usually show it by the time we are done with a shift. We do not have a front desk or anyone to greet you; if you come by the mill, you will probably just find one of us hanging around the loading dock or checking on the machinery. We just focus on getting the orders finished and out the door on time. The floors are hard concrete and there is always something being moved around on heavy pallets. It is not the kind of place you would come for a tour, it is just where the actual work happens. Being in this industrial estate means we are surrounded by other folks doing the same kind of heavy lifting. We know our neighbors and the truck drivers who come through the gates every day. We just keep our heads down and make sure things are done right. It gets hot inside during the summer, but that is just life in a mill.
