Karan Earth is located in Gharor, quite close to the Devji Bhagat Dharamsala. It’s a bit of a dusty spot, mostly because of the type of work we do with the land and the machinery. We don't have a big glass office or anything; it’s more of a yard where we keep the equipment and some of the materials we use. Being near the dharamsala makes it easy to give people directions since everyone knows where that is. The days here usually start quite early, often before the sun is fully up, so we can get a head start on the outdoor work. It’s a lot of physical labor and dealing with the weather, whether it’s the rain turning the ground to mud or the sun baking the dirt hard. We’ve got a few old trucks and some heavy gear that we look after. It’s not a glamorous business, and we are usually covered in some kind of dirt by the end of the shift. We’ve been in Gharor for a long time, and we know the land around here pretty well. We don't bother with a lot of talk; we just get the machines out and do the job that needs doing. Sometimes the equipment breaks down and we spend the afternoon fixing it with wrenches and grease. It’s just the way things go when you’re working with the earth every day. We stay busy and keep the machines running as much as we can.
