Siddhapura Iron Works Private Limited is out here in Navagam, which is in the Bhavnagar district. It is a bit of a drive out of the main city, but this is where the space is for doing this kind of heavy iron work. We have been in this spot for a long time. The building is large and gets very warm during the day when the metal is being handled. Most of the guys here have been working with iron since they were young men. It is a tough job and your hands are always dirty by the end of the shift. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write letters. We just focus on the machines and making sure the pieces are cut right. The yard usually has a lot of scrap metal waiting to be moved by the crane. You can hear the sound of the hammers and the grinders from down the road. It isn’t a quiet place to work, that is for sure. We take our breaks under the shade of the trees near the entrance when it gets too hot inside the shop. People from all over Bhavnagar know the name because we have been around forever. We aren't interested in being the biggest company, just in doing the work that comes across the desk each morning. Navagam is a quiet area otherwise, which suits us just fine for the kind of industrial stuff we do.
