Ankita Garments

You can find Ankita Garments at Shop number 4 in Sapna Market, which is right in the heart of Vora Bazar. It is a small shop, but we have managed to fit a lot of clothes inside over the years. We mostly sell everyday garments for people living in the neighborhood. It’s not the kind of place where you find high-end fashion, just honest clothes that people actually wear. The bazar is always alive with activity and sometimes it’s hard to even walk through the front door because of the crowds. I run the shop with my sister. We take turns sitting at the front desk. The walls are lined with racks and we have a small changing area tucked away in the corner. It’s nothing special to look at, just a regular shop with bright lights and a lot of hangers. We don't spend money on fancy marketing or anything like that. People come here because they know we have been here for a long time and they trust us. Sometimes the deliveries are late or the colors aren't exactly what we expected, but we make do. We like talking to the customers who stop by just to say hello even if they aren't buying anything that day. It feels like being part of a community rather than just running a business. We keep the shop open late most nights because that's when the bazar is at its best.
