Anand Hospital

Anand Hospital is located right by Aveda Gate. If you know the area, you know it’s a busy spot with plenty of people moving through all day. We have been here for a good stretch of time, and the building has seen better days, but it does what it’s supposed to do. Inside, it’s mostly just the essentials. We have a front desk where the staff takes down names and hands out tokens. It can get a little disorganized when too many people show up at once, but we manage. The doctors are usually in their rooms by nine, and the hallway starts filling up shortly after that. We deal with everything from seasonal coughs to basic stitches. There isn't much in the way of decoration on the walls, just some old health charts and a calendar that someone forgot to flip last month. It’s a practical place for the neighborhood. We see a lot of the same faces, which is nice. Sometimes the waiting room gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have fans running. It’s not fancy, and we don’t try to be something we aren't. We just show up, open the doors, and help whoever walks in from Aveda Gate. People appreciate that we are easy to find and that we don’t overcomplicate things. It’s just how we run things every day for the community.
