Ambuja Cements Ltd.

This particular branch of Ambuja Cements Ltd. is over in Anandnagar, specifically at Block Number 632 in the Old L.I.G. area of Bhavnagar-5. It is a bit of a residential feel around here compared to the industrial zones. We have been here for a good bit, working out of this block and keeping things running for the local construction needs. People in Bhavnagar know the Old L.I.G. buildings pretty well since they have been around for ages. Our space is simple. We have the usual office stuff, some chairs that have seen better days, and stacks of paperwork that never seem to go away. We handle the distribution and the local coordination from this spot. It gets quite hot in the summers, so we usually have the fans going full blast while we talk to customers. There is no polish here, just a group of people who know how cement moves from the factory to the site. We talk to the truck drivers, the small-time contractors, and the families building their first homes. Every day is different, but the goal is always the same—just get the cement where it needs to go. We like being in Anandnagar because it feels like a real community. You see the same faces every day and you get to know how people work. We just keep things moving and don't worry too much about the rest.
