Alpa Industries

We are based out of Chitra GIDC at units 271 and 272. Being in a GIDC area means there is always something happening, trucks moving, and the sound of manufacturing in the air. Alpa Industries has been operating from this spot for quite a bit now. We have a fair amount of space, but it always seems to fill up faster than we expect. We start the day early, usually before the sun gets too high, because the metal roof makes the shop floor pretty hot by noon. Our team is small, just a few local guys who know the machines inside and out. We don’t have a big corporate structure or anything. If there’s a problem, we just huddle up and figure it out right there on the floor. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we usually go for a break in the afternoon. It’s a good way to catch up on the local news in the industrial estate. The office part of our building is just a couple of desks and a filing cabinet that’s seen better days. We spend most of our time out where the work happens anyway. It’s dusty and noisy, but it’s our space. We make sure the gates are locked tight at night and we’re back at it the next morning. It’s a simple routine, and we don't see any reason to change it. We just do the work that is in front of us.
