A One Extrusion Company

A One Extrusion Company is located at 351/C in the G.I.D.C area of Chitra. It's an industrial zone, so don't expect any gardens or quiet streets around here. The sound of the extrusion lines is pretty much the background music to our lives. We start early when the air is still a bit cool because once those machines get going, the whole shop floor warms up fast. Most of us wear heavy boots and clothes we don't mind getting a bit dirty. Chitra is a busy place, and there are trucks moving in and out of the gates all day long. Sometimes we have to shout just to be heard over the hum of the cooling fans. We don't have a big front office with a receptionist; usually, you just walk in and find someone near the back who knows what's happening. My desk is covered in scribbled notes and old measurements because that's how we keep track of things. We’ve been at this 351/C spot for a long time, and the building shows its age, but it works for us. Lunch is usually something quick brought from home, eaten while sitting on a crate. It is hard work, and the days are long, but we like the routine of it. We just focus on getting the material out of the machines and onto the transport trucks that wait outside the gates every afternoon. There is always a layer of dust on everything, but that's just part of being in this line of work.
