Vishveswaraya Higher Secondary School

Vishveswaraya Higher Secondary School is out on Athani Road. We are in Anthiyur, which is part of the Erode district. It is a pretty straightforward place. We have the higher secondary classes, so the students are a bit older and getting ready for their big exams. The school is right there on the main road, so it is easy for everyone to find. We have the usual set of classrooms and a small ground where the kids spend their time during the break. It’s not a massive campus, but it works for what we need. The office is where we handle all the registrations and the daily chores of running a school. We have a lot of teachers who live nearby in Erode or right here in Anthiyur. During the summer, it gets quite warm, so we keep the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes off the road. You can hear the buses and lorries going by all day. We have been here for quite some time now. Most of the people in the area know us by name. We don't really have a big fancy reception area. It is just a desk and some chairs where parents can sit and wait for the principal. We focus on the lessons and making sure the students are where they are supposed to be. It is a lot of work, but we are used to the routine by now.
