Thirukumaran Foundation

We are over here on Meenakshi Kalyana Mandapam Road. It’s right in the Varnapuram area of Bhavani. People around here know the spot. We’ve been at 140 for a while now. The building is easy enough to find if you are coming down the main road. Most of the time it is just us doing what needs doing. It gets real busy during the day. People are always coming and going. We started this whole thing because there was stuff that needed doing right here in our own neighborhood, simple as that. There isn't any big fancy office or anything like that. Just a plain space where we handle the daily tasks. We try to keep things organized but sometimes it’s a bit of a mess when there is a lot happening at once. Bhavani is a good place to be based. The street gets a lot of traffic because of the mandapam nearby, so there is always noise and people walking past. We don’t really spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty. It’s more about the actual work. If you walk past the foundation, you’ll likely see someone sitting near the door or moving boxes around. It’s a local effort, nothing more, nothing less. We just use what we have to help out. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit tricky, but we are still here. It’s just how things go in this part of town. We are Thirukumaran Foundation and this is our home.
