Anthiyur Brilliant Nursery & Primary School

Anthiyur Brilliant Nursery & Primary School is located at No 23, Theppakulam Street. This is right in the heart of Anthiyur in the Erode district. It’s a busy little street and you can always hear the local traffic passing by the front gate. The building is a two-story structure and it’s painted in colors that the kids seem to like. We have nursery and primary classes, so the age range is quite small. The little ones arrive in the morning, usually looking a bit sleepy, but they wake up soon enough once they start playing. There are small plastic chairs and low tables in the classrooms so they fit the children. We spend a lot of time teaching them how to share and how to sit still for more than five minutes. The teachers here are mostly women from the neighborhood who have a lot of patience. Erode weather can be quite hot, so we make sure there is enough water for everyone to drink. During lunch, the whole place smells like lemon rice and sambar because everyone brings their own food from home. We don’t have a big fancy auditorium or anything like that. We just use the common space for our small events. It’s a local school for local families, and we just try to keep things running smoothly day after day on Theppakulam Street. People in Anthiyur know we are here for their kids.
