We operate out of Taluka Bhatkuli, and that's where Prakash Haribhau Mahatme & Company has its roots. It’s a quiet area, and things move a bit slower here than they do in the big cities. We like it that way because it lets us focus. Most of what we do involves the local community and the businesses around this part of the district. It’s a family-named place, and we try to run it with that kind of personal touch. We don't have a massive staff or a fancy headquarters; it’s just a practical office where we handle our daily affairs. Some days we’re dealing with paperwork, other days we’re out visiting sites or meeting people in the village. The weather out here in Bhatkuli can be quite unpredictable, especially during the monsoon, which sometimes slows our work down more than we’d like. We’ve been part of this landscape for a long time now. People around here know who we are and where to find us if they need anything. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we absolutely have to. Most of our business is done face-to-face or over the phone. It’s just how we’ve always done things here. The office is usually filled with the sound of the ceiling fan and the occasional bird outside. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing, day in and day out, without making much of a fuss about it. It’s just us doing our best for the area.
