The address is 258, Maniyalaya, on Nagappanaik Road. It is a bit tucked away, so you have to look for the number on the door. The street isn't very wide, which makes it a bit tricky when we have a lot of deliveries arriving at once. We use the ground floor for everything. It’s where we keep all the items we sell and where we sit during the day. We have been running this place for some time now and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. There used to be fewer buildings around here, but now it’s quite crowded. We sell a variety of small items, mostly things people need for their homes or small shops. The shelves are made of wood and they bow a little in the middle because of the weight of the metal. We keep a record of everything in a big book on the desk. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except when the traffic gets backed up outside. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years. They know exactly where to find us and what we carry. Sometimes we sit outside on a couple of stools when the weather is nice just to watch the people go by. It’s a comfortable routine and we don’t see any reason to change how we do things. We keep a small radio on the shelf that mostly plays local stations.
