Our facility is spread across a few plots here in Phase-2 of the GIDC in Dahej-II. It’s quite a large site, including Plot No. D-2/12, 12-A, 13, 4 and several others. Working with carbon is a specialized thing, and we’ve been set up in Vadadala for a bit now. Most of the day involves monitoring the equipment and checking the output. It’s an industrial environment, so it’s not exactly quiet or pristine. We have a lot of pipes and storage tanks scattered around the yard. The wind in Dahej can get pretty strong, blowing dust across the site. We just focus on keeping the machines running and meeting the schedules. There’s a lot of paperwork involved with being in an industrial estate like this, which keeps the office side of things busy. We don’t have fancy reception areas; if you come visit, you’ll probably meet us in the middle of the workspace. It’s just a group of people who understand how the technology works. We deal with bulk orders and industrial clients who know exactly what they need. Most of our guys have been working here since we opened up in this part of Vadadala. It’s a lot of routine, checking gauges and making sure everything is safe and functional. We spend a lot of time on maintenance too, because the environment is harsh on the gear. It’s a busy place with First Carbon Technology Pvt. Ltd. growing slowly over time. There is no corporate polish here, just hard work in the sun.
