Unitech Ltd is tucked away in Pipalwali Gali in Patel Nagar. It’s one of those narrow lanes in Gurgaon that gets quite busy during the day. Our house number is 1028/5A. It’s a bit of a squeeze getting vehicles through sometimes, but that’s just how this part of town is. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while. It’s a lived-in kind of place. Not like the shiny glass buildings you see over on the Cyber Hub side of Gurgaon. This is the real town. We have a lot of neighbors close by, so there’s always something happening outside the window. Inside, it’s just a few of us working. We have papers stacked up and some old furniture that’s seen better days. It’s comfortable though. We don’t have a dress code or anything like that. We just come in, have our morning tea, and get to it. The pipal tree nearby gives the lane its name, and it’s a good landmark if you’re looking for us. It’s not a fancy set-up, but it’s where we do our thing. We handle the daily grind without making a big deal out of it. It’s just a local office in a busy street. It gets a bit noisy when the school nearby lets out, but we just turn up the fan and keep going. It’s a plain place, but it serves us well enough for what we need to do. We just keep our heads down and keep moving forward.
