We are located in the Dahej GIDC area, which is a massive industrial hub near the coast. Working at Srf Ltd. means being part of the constant activity that happens in this zone every single day. It’s a landscape of large factories, heavy trucks, and wide roads that get very dusty when the wind picks up. Our facility is a big part of our lives, and we spend long shifts here making sure everything is running smoothly. The heat in Dahej can be quite intense, especially during the summer months when the sun reflects off all the steel structures. We have a lot of ground to cover on the site, so we are often on our feet moving between different sections to check on things. It’s an environment where safety is the main thing we talk about every morning before the work starts. The sound of the plant is like a constant hum in the background that you eventually stop noticing after a few weeks. We eat our meals in the common mess hall with everyone else from the different departments. It’s a hard-working atmosphere where people from all over come to earn a living. The GIDC is quite far from the main residential areas, so many of us take the company bus or share rides to get here. We aren't here to look fancy; we are here to handle the production and keep the machinery in good shape. It’s a straightforward industrial life in a busy zone.
