We are located at Plot 4797 on Lyka Lab Road inside the GIDC estate. It’s a large plot, so we have plenty of room for our production and storage. We make various small plastic and metal items that other factories use. I started this place about ten years ago after working for another manufacturer nearby. It was a big risk at the time, but it’s worked out okay so far. The road outside can get quite muddy during the monsoon, making it hard for the trucks to pull in. We have about ten people working here now, mostly locals from the area. We don't have a fancy lunchroom, so we all just sit together in the shade during the break. The machines are a bit old, but we keep them well-oiled and they still do a good job. We don't spend money on marketing or anything like that. We just try to make things that don't break. If a batch comes out wrong, we just redo it. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. Some days the heat in the shed is almost too much, but we just drink a lot of water and keep going. We aren't trying to change the world, just making sure our customers get their orders on time and that the bills are paid at the end of every month.
