Prerna Dress Supplier

Our setup is in Room No. 188 at Rachna Nagar-4. We are quite close to the Maktampur Police Chauki, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find our door. It’s a residential-style area, so it’s not as crazy as the main markets downtown. Prerna Dress Supplier is a small operation. We use the room for storing the dresses and handling the small orders that come in every day. There isn't much space to move around once the new shipments arrive from the factory. We have to stack the cardboard boxes all the way to the ceiling sometimes. The room gets quite warm in the afternoon sun, even with the windows open. We have a simple desk and a few plastic stools. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing cricket outside and you can hear them shouting through the door. It’s a very local vibe here. We don't have a big sign or any bright lights. People usually find us by word of mouth or because they live in Rachna Nagar. We handle the dresses carefully, making sure they stay clean in their plastic wraps. It’s a lot of folding and unfolding all day. We do our own deliveries sometimes if it's nearby. It’s a humble way to make a living. We know the local shopkeepers and the police at the chauki. It’s just a normal day-to-day business for us here.
