Amar Ayurvedic Store

Our store is at number 14 in Mahajan Market which is located near the Panch Batti area on Seveshram Road. It is an old part of the city and our shop fits right in with the traditional feel of the market. When you walk inside you will notice the smell of various herbs and roots immediately. We have spent years filling these shelves with all kinds of ayurvedic items. It is not a modern looking place with bright lights or glass counters everywhere. We prefer the older style of keeping things in simple jars and boxes. The Mahajan Market is usually crowded and noisy but that is just part of being in this neighborhood. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here and we often chat with them during the slower parts of the afternoon. Seveshram Road has a lot of history and we are glad to be a small part of it. We do not use computers for everything because we find that doing things by hand works just fine for a store like ours. People come to us from all over the city because they are looking for something specific that is hard to find elsewhere. We just focus on keeping the inventory full and helping our customers find what they need. It is a quiet life inside the shop even though the world outside is moving very fast. We stay here until late in the evening making sure everything is ready for the next day.
