Raiyani Technofab

Our place is at Plot No. 115/1 in Gidc Phase 2. If you are looking for us, we are right near Krishna Marble, which is a big landmark that everyone around here knows. Working at Raiyani Technofab means you get used to the smell of welding and the bright sparks flying around the shop floor. We do a lot of fabrication work, so there are always long pieces of metal leaned up against the walls and stacks of steel plates in the corners. The guys wear their heavy gloves and masks all day, which gets pretty hot when the sun is beating down on the tin roof. The building is sturdy enough but it gets really loud inside once the cutting starts. We have a routine where we check all the measurements twice because nobody wants to redo a weld after the metal has cooled down. It is a lot of physical labor and your back definitely feels it by the end of the shift. We usually have a tea break around four in the afternoon when the local tea seller comes by on his cycle. It is a good chance to put the tools down for ten minutes and just breathe. The floor is concrete and dusty, no matter how much we sweep it every evening. That is just the nature of technofab work. We are not into big speeches. We just take the drawings, look at the metal, and start cutting and joining things together.
