Dev Shree Syntex Pvt. Ltd. is located over at Plot No. 2/1 in Phase-1 of the Gidc Estate in Narmada Nagar. Our daily routine involves a lot of noise from the synthetic textile machinery. It is a big, open shed where the looms are kept busy most of the time. The air in Narmada Nagar is always full of the sounds of industry, and we are right in the middle of it. We have been working out of this Plot No. 2/1 location for years. The floor is usually covered in bits of thread and fabric, which is normal for a place like ours. We don’t have a corporate setup with meetings and reports. Instead, we just walk over to the machines and talk about what needs doing. It gets pretty humid inside the factory, but we have big fans to keep the air moving while we work. The Gidc Estate is a busy place, so there are always trucks coming in to pick up the rolls of syntex. We know the regular drivers and the people at the neighboring units. It’s a community where everyone is just trying to get their work done. We don't spend much time worrying about the office looking perfect. As long as the machines are running and the fabric is coming out right, we are happy with how things are going. It’s just how we do things here.
