Mahadev Stores

Mahadev Stores is located at Shop No. 6 in Gokul Chambers. We are right on GIDC Rd Number 1, which is a very busy part of the neighborhood. Being near the Panchratna Complex and right behind GIDC means we get a lot of foot traffic from workers and residents. The store is quite small and we have packed every inch of the walls with goods. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three customers are inside at the same time. I’ve been running this shop for several years and I know most of the people who walk through the door. We don't have any fancy automated systems, just a simple counter and some old wooden shelves. We keep the daily essentials that people need in a hurry. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic on the GIDC road, which can be a real headache. The floor tiles are a bit cracked in the entrance and the ceiling fan makes a clicking noise, but the store stays cool enough. We open up early in the morning and stay late until the last shift at the factory ends. It is a lot of hours on my feet, but it is how we make our living. We don't do any big promotions or sales events. People just come here because we are convenient and they know what to expect. It is a straightforward local shop in a working-class area.
