Little Elly

We are located at 2/A in the Bholav area of Bharuch. It’s a quiet enough spot for the little ones. Every morning, the street gets busy with parents dropping off their toddlers before they head to work. You’ll see a row of tiny shoes lined up outside the entrance. The rooms are filled with bright posters and those plastic chairs that are just the right size for three-year-olds. We spend a lot of time cleaning up spilled juice or helping kids find their lost socks. It’s a loud place, honestly. There is always someone crying because they dropped their snack or someone laughing because of a cartoon. Our staff is mostly local women who know the families around here. We have a small play area, though the slide gets a bit sticky in the humidity. The walls have some scuff marks from where the kids run their toy cars, but we think it makes the place feel lived in. Bharuch can get very hot, so we keep the curtains drawn during the middle of the day. Sometimes we sit on the floor with the children to read stories or just color in books. It’s not a perfect environment, but it is safe and the kids seem to like the toys we have. We keep a big water cooler near the door because everyone is always thirsty after playing. It’s just a neighborhood preschool where we know most people by their first names and their favorite snacks. We've been here in Bholav for quite a while now.
