Being located at Plot No:756, 8 9 in the GIDC Mega Estate means we are right in the heart of the industrial zone. Endeka Ceramics is a place where we deal with a lot of heavy stuff. Ceramics isn't a clean job; there’s always clay and grit around. We’ve got large kilns and drying areas that take up most of the space. The heat from the ovens is something you just get used to after a while. Our office is a small partitioned area that stays a little cooler than the rest of the building. We have a few desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of samples sitting on every flat surface. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most of our work comes from word of mouth or long-standing contracts. The staff here is a mix of technical people and laborers who know the rhythm of the place. It’s not a fancy setup with glass windows. It’s a workshop. We spend our time checking the mix and making sure the temperature is right. Sometimes a batch doesn't come out perfect, and we have to start over. That’s just how it goes with ceramics. We don't have a big corporate story to tell; we just make things out of earth and fire. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but it’s our mess and we know it well.
