Jhagadia Copper Ltd

Our setup for Jhagadia Copper Ltd is a little different than most because we operate out of Rachanagar-4 on Maktampur Road. You can find us at Hardeep Singh’s place, number 171. It’s more of a home-style office than a massive factory floor, but we still manage all the copper business from here. Bharuch is a dusty town, especially with the trucks constantly moving on Maktampur Road, so we are always cleaning off the desks. We have a small team here. Most of our time is spent on the telephone or looking through stacks of paperwork that never seem to end. Hardeep is around quite a bit. It is usually pretty quiet, except for when the school buses go past the gate. We have a few ceiling fans, but they don’t do much when the Gujarat heat really kicks in during May. People stop by sometimes to ask about work or just to drop off some mail. It feels a lot more like a local neighborhood spot than some big corporate headquarters. We don’t even have a big sign, just a small one by the door. Being in a residential area means we know the people living next door and the guy at the tea stall. It’s just a practical way to do things. We focus on the daily tasks and stay on top of the files. That’s about it for us here in 392002.
