Jhagadia Copper Limited

At Jhagadia Copper Limited, we operate out of Narayan Darshan -1 on Jadheshwar Road in Bharuch. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of traffic passing by outside. Our office is house number 907. It’s a tight space, mostly filled with files and samples of the copper we handle. We don’t have a big fancy sign, just a small one near the door. The heat in Bharuch can be really something in the summer months. We keep the windows open, but that just lets in the noise from the street. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking the latest shipments that come in from the plant. It’s a practical way to run things. We aren’t interested in making things look like a corporate headquarters. We just want to make sure the copper moves through the system without getting stuck. Sometimes the ledger books get a bit worn out from all the page-flipping. We have a small kettle for making tea for anyone who drops by. It is a very local kind of operation. The floor is made of grey stone and stays cool in the morning. By lunchtime, the whole place is buzzing with activity. We handle the logistical side of the copper business right here. It’s not glamorous, but it is how we make our living. We know the Jadheshwar Road area like the back of our hands.
