We operate out of 15, Punit Society, which is located near the New Civil Hospital in Bharuch. It is a fairly quiet residential area that has slowly seen more businesses move in over the years. Our office at Jacobs Engineering India Pvt Ltd feels more like a house than a corporate headquarters, which actually makes it a pretty comfortable place to spend the day. Since we are right near the Civil Hospital, everyone in Bharuch knows the general area, so we never have much trouble explaining where we are. The work we do is technical and requires a lot of concentration, so the quiet atmosphere of Punit Society really helps. We usually have a few drawings spread out on the big tables in the center of the room. It gets quite warm in Gujarat, so we keep the blinds closed during the afternoon to stay cool while we work through our project lists. We have a few regulars who stop by for meetings, but mostly it is just the core team handling the day-to-day engineering tasks. There isn't any fancy lingo used here; we just talk about the jobs in plain English and try to stay on top of the deadlines. Lunchtime is usually a communal affair where we share whatever we brought from home.
