Ishikawajima Harima Heavy Indutsries,Japan

We are Ishikawajima Harima Heavy Industries, from Japan, but this is our setup in Gujarat. The office is handled by the Admin Executive, and we are located care of the Ishikawajima Harima Heavy Industry Corporation at Petronet LNG. We are at 7/P, GIDC, in the village of Lakhigam. It’s right in the middle of the industrial zone. GIDC areas are always busy with trucks and heavy machinery moving around at all hours. Lakhigam is a small village nearby, but the industrial site is where all the action is. It’s a big complex with lots of pipes and structures. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations in our office. It’s mostly metal desks, some chairs, and computers. The work we do here is quite technical, but we try to keep our daily interactions simple and honest. Being part of a Japanese company means we have certain ways of doing things, but here in Gujarat, we’ve adapted to the local pace too. The heat in Lakhigam can be intense, especially near the LNG site in the afternoons. We mostly stay inside where there's some shade. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write brochures. People who deal with us know who we are because of the Petronet connection. It’s a very practical, industrial environment. We just focus on our specific tasks and try to keep things moving forward. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do every day to make a living.
