You can find us at D-2/ch-1 in the Gidc Industrial Estate over in Dahej. This area is pretty much just one factory after another, and we fit right in. Adama India Pvt. Ltd. has a lot of pipes and storage tanks visible from the road. The air usually smells like chemicals or salt because we’re not too far from the coast. It’s a big site, so we use radios to talk to each other across the different sections. We don’t really have a lot of visitors, mostly just suppliers and transport guys. The office part is small compared to the rest of the plant. We spend most of our time looking at charts or checking the valves. It gets very hot out here during the day, so we drink a lot of water and stay in the shade when we can. Working in a place like Dahej requires a certain kind of patience because everything is far away. We’ve got a steady group of people here who have been through all the seasons with us. There isn't any fancy marketing team sitting here; just folks in uniforms making sure the processes keep running. It’s a straightforward operation where the main goal is just finishing the day’s schedule safely and going home. We don't spend much time talking about anything other than the work right in front of us. It is just a plain, industrial life.
