Hindalco Industries Ltd. (Unit: Birla Copper)

We are based at 6, Swami-Vivekanand Society in Bharuch. This is near the Pritam-1 area, which is a pretty well-known spot around here in Gujarat. This unit belongs to Hindalco and focuses on Birla Copper. It is more of a residential-style setting for an office, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than a giant industrial complex. We have been here for a while and the neighbors are all used to us by now. We don't really do the whole polished corporate thing. Most of us just wear regular clothes and get on with the daily chores of running the unit. The house numbers around here can be a bit confusing if you aren't from the area, but we are right there in the society. Working in Bharuch has its own rhythm. The weather gets quite warm, so we keep the fans going and stay focused on the copper side of the business. It’s a simple setup with no unnecessary frills. We don’t have any marketing brochures lying around. It’s just about getting the work finished so we can get home to our families. We are just a small part of the bigger Birla Copper picture, doing our part from this little corner of the city. It’s a quiet place to work mostly. We don't need fancy stuff to tell people we are busy. We just show up and do what needs doing every single morning without any extra drama.
