Hindalco Industries Ltd (Unit : Birla Copper)

This unit of Birla Copper is located in a very specific part of Baroda. We are over on Kharivav Road, which is right near the GPO. If you are familiar with the older parts of the city, you know it can get quite congested with scooters and pedestrians. We are set up c/o Shri S R Joshi. It is not one of those massive industrial complexes you see on the outskirts; it’s more of a central touchpoint for the Hindalco Industries Ltd operations in this region. The building has that classic Baroda feel to it. Working near the General Post Office means there is always a lot of movement nearby. We have our daily routines, mostly centered around the copper business and local coordination. The weather in Gujarat stays pretty consistent—hot for most of the year. We have a small team here compared to the plants, but everyone knows their job well. You won’t find any shiny glass walls or modern art here. It’s just desks, files, and people working. We usually head out for lunch to the small places around the corner. It’s a very grounded way to work. Being part of the Birla Copper division, we deal with a lot of the logistical side of things from this Baroda office. It has been our base for a long time, and we like being in the heart of the city where everything is happening. It’s honest work and a steady environment for everyone involved.
