Hindalco Industies Limited(Unit-Birla Copper)

Our office is located at B-2 in the Harihar Society. It’s a quiet residential area near the Vishwanath Township on Zadeswar Road. Living and working in a society like this in Bharuch is pretty calm compared to being right inside the factory gates. We have neighbors who are going about their daily lives, hanging laundry or washing cars. We try to fit in without causing any trouble. The space is basically a house that we’ve turned into a workspace for the Hindalco Industies Limited(Unit-Birla Copper) team. It has a small front area where we sometimes park our scooters. Inside, it’s just rooms filled with desks and cupboards for all the files. We don't have a big reception desk or anything. If you knock, someone will just come to the door and help you. It gets quite hot on Zadeswar Road in May, so we keep the curtains drawn to stay cool. We’ve been here long enough that we know the guys at the corner shop and the security at the township. It’s a very local feel. We aren't looking to be the biggest or the flashiest office in town. We just want to get the paperwork done and make sure the logistics are moving. It’s a steady job in a nice, normal part of Bharuch. No one uses big words here; we just say what needs doing and do it. We even share snacks with the neighbors sometimes.
