Arunoday Ceramics

Arunoday Ceramics is based at 33/A in the GIDC area. It’s an industrial estate, so it’s full of factories and warehouses. Our place is filled with the smell of clay and the sound of the kilns. It can get pretty dusty and messy, but that’s just part of working with ceramics. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. Most of our space is used for production and storage. We have a small group of people who handle the molding and the firing. Every day is pretty much the same routine of checking the pieces and getting them ready for transport. The GIDC is a big place, but we’ve been at 33/A for a long time, so we know our way around. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we do. We just make ceramic items. It’s a slow process sometimes, especially when the weather is damp and things take longer to dry. We have to be patient. We don't spend any money on advertising or fancy signs. Most people who need what we make already know where to find us. It’s a very practical way to run a business. We just stay focused on our work and try to keep things moving steadily. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady and it keeps us busy. We are just a local business doing our thing in the industrial zone.
