You can find Aarti Writing Producs Pvt. Ltd. - 1 at 1510 in the 3rd Phase of GIDC. GIDC is a huge place and it’s easy to get lost if you don’t know the plot numbers. We are just another one of the units here, making pens and other things you use for writing. It’s a lot of plastic molding and ink filling. The floor is almost always stained with different colors from the ink we use. We have rows of tables where people sit and put the parts together. It’s quiet work, mostly, except for the sound of the injection machines. We aren't a big international corporation. We are just a local manufacturer. The building is functional, nothing more than that. We have a small room where we keep the finished stock in cardboard boxes. Most of the people working here live nearby and walk to work every morning. We don't spend money on advertising or anything. We just make sure the pens work and the ink flows like it should. Sometimes a batch goes wrong and we have to start over, which is frustrating, but it happens in this business. We take a break in the afternoon for tea and some snacks. It’s a regular life here in the 3rd Phase. We’ve been in this same spot for years. People know us as the writing product place near the end of the road. It’s just what we do every day.
