Our center is located in the Dahej GIDC, Phase-II, specifically at D-2/135. If you know Dahej, you know it’s a massive industrial hub. It’s not the kind of place where you come for a holiday. It’s all about industry, pipes, and large-scale processing. We focus on cleaner process technology at Ankleshwar Cleaner Process Technology Centre Pvt. Ltd., which means we spend our time figuring out how to make industrial stuff work better and with less mess. The air here usually smells like salt and chemicals because we are so close to the coast and other big plants. Our building is a functional space. We have some lab equipment and a lot of technical manuals piled up. The staff here are mostly engineers or technicians who don't mind getting their hands dirty. We spend a lot of time testing things and looking at results on our screens. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s necessary for the other factories around here. We deal with a lot of heat during the day, so the fans are always going full blast. Lunch is usually something quick brought from home in a tiffin. We don't have a big sign out front or anything fancy. People who need us usually know exactly where we are. It’s a quiet place compared to the big refineries nearby, but we keep very busy. We’re just a small part of this huge industrial zone, trying to do our bit every day with the tools we have.
