Over at Plot No. 328-329/D, you’ll find Mercury Industries Ltd. We occupy a couple of plots because we needed the extra space for the equipment. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes. We’ve been here for years, through the good times and the slower ones too. We don't go in for fancy talk or big marketing pitches. We just focus on the industrial work we’ve been doing since the start. The roof leaks a little when it rains really hard, but we’ve got buckets for that. It’s just part of being in an older building. Our staff is a mix of older guys who know every trick and younger ones learning the ropes. We produce what’s needed and try to stay out of trouble. People around here know us for being reliable, even if we aren't the fastest to reply to emails. We prefer talking in person or over the phone anyway. There’s always something that needs fixing or a machine that needs oiling. It's a busy atmosphere, but we find time to sit down for lunch together. We aren't some distant company; we're right here on the shop floor most of the day. If you need something made to certain specs, we do our best to get it right. It’s practical, everyday work for us. We just keep our heads down and keep the production moving along without making a big fuss about it.
