Being at Plot No. A/1, 68/2, Phase-1, Gidc Estate means dealing with a lot of noise. Rahul Chains Pvt. Ltd. is right in the middle of it all. If you walk by, you can usually hear the sound of metal and the hum of the machines running. It’s a busy place. We’ve been in Phase-1 for a long time, and we’ve seen businesses come and go, but we stay right here. The floor is concrete and always has a bit of a sheen to it from the oil and the work we do. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear your best shoes. We have a small office near the front, but mostly everyone is out in the back where the action is. It gets loud, so we have to shout sometimes to be heard over the equipment. We don't mind it much. It’s just the sound of work being done. Lunch breaks are usually taken together on some benches we put out. It’s a chance to sit down and rest the legs for a bit. The address is a bit of a mouthful, but the locals know exactly where Phase-1 is. We keep the gates open during the day to let a bit of a breeze in, though it’s mostly just the smell of the industrial estate. It’s a hard day’s work every day, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
