You can find us at Z-43/1 in the GIDC 1 area of Dahej. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s all factories and trucks around here. We work with polyester. The plant is usually humming with noise. It’s a big space with a lot of machinery. We’ve been operating out of Dahej for quite a while now. It’s a dusty place sometimes but it’s where the work is. We have a crew that works in shifts. There is always someone here watching the machines. We don’t have a fancy office. It’s mostly just functional space for the production. The heat can get a bit much in the summer. We just drink plenty of water and keep the lines moving. Shipping things out is a big part of our day. The trucks come in the morning and we load them up. It’s a straight-forward business. We don’t do much advertising. People in the industry know where we are. We focus on the quality of the thread and making sure the machines don’t break down. It’s hard work but it’s what we do. The GIDC is a busy hub. You see the same faces every day at the local tea stall. It’s a community of workers just trying to get the job done. We’ve been here since the early days of this industrial area. It’s grown a lot but our work stays the same. We just keep the production going and handle the orders.
