Essar Steel Ltd

Our office is at R-4 in the Sukh Samrudhi Society. We are located right behind the Gatu Vidhya Laya in the Ankleshwar G.I.D.C area. Being in an industrial estate like this means there is always a lot of heavy truck traffic and the smell of various factories in the air. It’s a very busy part of Bharuch. The society itself is a bit quieter than the main road, which is nice. We handle the local operations for Essar Steel Ltd from this small unit. The space is fairly cramped because we have so many records stored here. We have a couple of fans that stay on all day to keep the air moving. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters; it’s just a functional workspace. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we know the local shops and the best places to grab a quick snack. We spend the day dealing with the practical side of the steel business. There is a lot of coordination needed with the plants and the transport companies. We use old ledgers alongside the computers because it feels more secure. The building is a bit plain, but it serves its purpose well. We don't have a receptionist, so someone just shouts from the back if the door opens. It’s a humble place, and we like it that way. We lock up around six and head home through the industrial gates.
