Essar Constructions

You can find us over at Goyal Intercity on Drive-In Road here in Ahmedabad. Essar Constructions is basically just a local team that does building and renovation work around this area. Ahmedabad is growing so fast, so there is always a lot of activity. We’ve been at this for some time now. Our office isn't anything to brag about, mostly just some desks and a lot of blueprints rolled up in the corner. We spend our days visiting different sites across the city, making sure the guys have what they need to keep moving. It’s a lot of driving around in the heat and dealing with traffic, but that’s Ahmedabad for you. We don't have a glossy brochure or a big sales pitch. Most of our work comes from people who know us or saw us working on a neighbor's house. It's honest work. Sometimes we get stuck waiting for permits or for the cement to dry when it's humid, but we don't complain much. We just want to get the job done so the owners can move back in or start their business. We’re just regular workers who appreciate a good cup of chai and a day where everything goes relatively smoothly. If we aren't at the office B/2/33, we’re probably out on a roof somewhere checking the tiles or talking to the suppliers about a load of bricks. It is what it is.
