Our place is located right near Kapdi Pole in the Raopura area of Vadodara. If you’ve ever walked through the old parts of this city, you know exactly what it’s like. The lanes are narrow, the buildings have a lot of history, and there is a constant buzz of activity from the nearby markets. We handle our ceramic business from this office, which is really just a practical space for us to work in. It’s not the kind of place you’d come to for a fancy meeting. It’s more about desks piled with samples and people talking on phones to get things coordinated. The building itself has been around for quite a while and has that lived-in feel. We know the people who run the shops nearby, and we usually grab our tea from the same spot every morning. Vadodara can get incredibly hot, so we spend a lot of time just trying to stay cool while we work. There are no polished slogans or big mission statements on our walls. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure everything is handled correctly. Sometimes the traffic in Raopura makes it hard for people to visit, but we are used to that by now. It’s just a normal, everyday office where a small team of real people works hard to keep things moving. We like being in this part of town because it feels authentic.
