About Durga Quarry – Building & Construction Material in Bharuch
We operate out of Plot No. 37 in Kadwali, which is part of the Jhagadia taluka. Working at a quarry means things are pretty much always loud and there is a lot of dust hanging in the air. We spend our days dealing with stone and heavy machinery, which is not exactly easy work. It’s the kind of job where you go home tired every single night. We have been at this location for a while now and the landscape has changed quite a bit since we started. There are always trucks coming in to pick up loads of rock for roads or building projects nearby. We don't have a fancy office or a lobby; it's mostly just the open pit and some sheds for the equipment. People who need stone usually just drive up and talk to whoever is operating the loader. It’s a very practical business without any of the extra stuff you find in city offices. The weather plays a big part in how much we can get done, especially when the monsoon hits and everything turns into a muddy mess. We just do our best to keep the stones moving and the machines from breaking down too often. It’s honest work, even if it is a bit rough around the edges. Most of our regulars are from around the Jhagadia area and they know we are usually out there from early morning until the sun goes down.
