Lords Eco Inn is situated near the railway crossing here in Dahej. It’s an industrial area, so we get a lot of workers and business people coming through. The hotel is run by Shri Ram Krupa Hotels, but we just think of ourselves as the local team on the ground. It’s not a fancy place, just a practical one for people who have work nearby. We’re close to the tracks, so you’ll hear the trains every now and then, but most people get used to it pretty quickly. We have a small kitchen that makes simple meals and a few rooms that we try to keep as comfortable as possible. It gets dusty out here sometimes because of the industry and the road, but we stay on top of the cleaning. We aren't trying to be a luxury destination. We just provide a service for the folks visiting the plants and factories in Dahej. Most of us live nearby and have been working here for a while. We know the local roads and the shortcuts to the different industrial zones. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just open the doors every morning, make sure the coffee is hot, and help the guests with whatever they need. It’s a straightforward business in a hardworking town. We like to keep things simple and focus on being helpful to the people who stay with us.
