We are based out in Village Dahej, specifically in the SEZ-1 area at plots Z/35 to Z/38 in Vagra. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but the space is good for what we do with agro products. The air smells like the fields and the sea sometimes, depending on which way the wind is blowing. We deal with a lot of raw materials coming in from the local farms and moving them through our facility. It’s a lot of loading and unloading trucks all day long. The sun gets really bright out here in the open, and the roads can be a bit rough during the monsoon season. We have a small team from the nearby villages who help with the processing. It’s not a corporate office with air conditioning everywhere; it’s a working site. We spend a lot of time checking the stuff that comes in because farmers have good days and bad days with their crops. Life in Vagra is quiet for the most part, except for the noise of the machinery running. We keep things simple and try to stay on top of the schedule. There’s always something to fix or a bag to move. It’s honest work that ties us back to the land around Dahej. We’ve stayed in these plots for a while now and the locals know where to find us if they need to drop off a load. It takes a lot of effort to keep everything organized when the harvests come in all at once.
