Gyanganga Printing Ind. Pvt. Ltd.

I have been at Gyanganga Printing Ind. Pvt. Ltd. for quite a while now. We are tucked away over at Plot No. 149/1, A/2 in the Gidc Indl. Estate. If you know this part of the estate, we’re located right behind Mipco. It is usually pretty loud around here with the printing machines running all day long. Sometimes the smell of ink gets a bit heavy, especially when the weather is humid, but you get used to it after a week or two on the job. Most of the guys here have been working together for years and we know how the machines act. We just come in, get the stacks of paper ready, and start the long runs. It is not a fancy office or anything like that. There is usually some tea being shared around mid-morning near the loading area. The floor is stained with different colors of ink, and there are always stacks of boxes waiting to be moved out to the trucks. We do not spend much time on the computer unless we have to check a file or an order. It is mostly hands-on work with the rollers and the cutters. The Gidc area gets a bit crowded during the afternoon shift changes, so we try to get our deliveries sorted before the roads get blocked up. It is a bit dusty outside on the estate roads, but inside we try to keep things as tidy as a printing shop can be. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished.
