Bharuch Medical

Bharuch Medical is located right at Panch Batti, so it is almost always loud with the sound of horns and traffic right outside the door. We have been operating from this same spot for many years now. The shop is actually quite small, but we make sure it gets the job done for everyone in the area. Most of our days start with sweeping the front step and checking what needs to be ordered to replace what we sold the day before. Being at such a central point like Panch Batti means we see all kinds of people throughout the day. Some are just passing through the city and others have lived in the surrounding houses for decades. We keep mostly medicines, just the usual things people need for a sudden fever or a bad cough. It is not a fancy place with bright modern lights or anything like that. We just have our old wooden counters and rows of medicine boxes stacked behind us. It can get a bit cramped when more than three or four people come in at the same time. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we have to use a small torch to find things on the higher shelves. We don't really do any advertising. People just know we are here because of where we sit. My cousin helps me out during the busy hours when the sun goes down. We talk to the regulars about the weather or the news while we pack their things into small bags.
